"A Pictures Worth A Thousand Words"
Dear Agent,
I’m sure you’ve heard these words before, but how true are they.
Hello! My name is Carl Joseph and I would appreciate a moment of your time. As a professional, it is very important to run any business in a very professional manor. How you represent yourself says a lot about who you are and how professional & successful you are.
I have enclosed a few brochures that I have put together for Real Estate Agents. Take a good look at them. What do you see when you look at them? If you’re thinking “Quality’ & “Professionalism” you’re right! But most important, these brochures say that these Real Estate Agents care enough to give their clients the very best.
The people that own estates that are in the $175,000 and up bracket know quality. Just put yourself in their shoes. Would you want someone representing your $500 thousand dollar home with sheets of paper and pictures pasted to them (and not great photographs at that). Or worse yet…black & white photostat copies.
I say this not to be demeaning but helpful in expressing what people with expensive homes want. It simple! They want quality (just take a good look at the estate they want you to sell).
Now here’s the good part…explain to your prospective client that they truly have a unique quality built home and you want to present that home in the best way possible. Show them a few samples of the brochures and how their estate will be presented in the same manner. I guarantee you that they will be very impressed and most likely, want you to list their estate, once they see these brochures.
You can give your future clients quality custom made brochures, and feature sheets that say, “This estate is worth it”! Remember, if the estate is worth a million, then your literature that represents that estate should “look like a million”. Make sense?
The nice thing about my offer to you is that you have nothing to invest in creating a unique brochure/feature sheets until your client has listed the estate with you.
If you want to get that special listing, just do the following:
· Show them some samples of Brochures (supplied free to you) and explain that you want to put a brochure together for their custom quality estate.
· Explain that a professional photographer will come out and take interior and exterior photographs of their home and will record unique qualities of their home (to be used as text in the brochure).
· Explain that after the photography session is completed that the brochure will be ready to proof in 2-3 days and that the finished brochure will be completed within 3 days after the proof is referred back to the layout artist. All in all, the entire process from beginning to end will take less than a week.
· Explain that all the pictures are taken with only the highest quality digital camera, by a professional award winning photographer, and that all photographs will be in beautiful color.
· Explain that all photographs will be enhanced to reflect only the most beautiful conditions …for example, the artist will put a beautiful sky where there was none. The artist will make sure the grass is green where there was burnt or bare spots and enhance the photo with color corrections etc. The artist will use all his talents to make the best brochure interior/exterior photographs possible.
· Explain that not only will the pictures be in color, but some of the highlighted text as well along with a unique soft color watermark in the background.
Do all of this…and not only will you list a new high-end estate, but you will also make your new client very proud and happy. In fact they will most likely want a few copies of the brochure for a personal remembrance keepsake.
Just think of the impact that you will have not only on the owners of the estate, but prospective buyers as well. They can actually take something home with them that show them the beauty of that estate and explain in detail all the fine qualities and amenities that make that home so special.
If someone falls in love with a new estate, give them something that will keep that love alive every time they pick up that brochure. After all,
“A pictures worth a thousand words”…but a great brochure is worth more”
Hoping to be working with you soon!
Carl Joseph
